Site Supervision & Commissioning – MCR

Site Supervision & Commissioning

A good design isn’t enough: a building’s performance is decided in the final months on site, when controls are parametrised, points are tested and scenarios validated. This is precisely the phase that schedules squeeze hardest — and where we add the most value.

Our services

  • MCR site supervision: overseeing automation contractors, checking compliance with the specification, coordinating with the HVAC and electrical trades, and managing interfaces.
  • Full testing and technical handover: point-by-point verification (points lists, BACnet EDE), functional testing of scenarios (occupied, setback, fault, backup), and integrated multi-trade tests ahead of handover.
  • Commissioning support and optimisation: support through the first months of operation, adjusting setpoints and curves to the building’s actual behaviour, and verifying contractual performance.

Why an independent eye

The integrator who programmed the installation cannot be their own inspector. An independent MCR engineer at handover is the client’s assurance of getting what they paid for: points that report reliably, stable control loops, complete documentation, and trained operators.

What you get

Installations that deliver on their performance promises, a handover file that holds up, and a smooth transition into operation. This service naturally complements our MCR design engagements — but we also take on handover alone, for installations designed by others.
