Custom development: software and electronics
Software and electronics for buildings: controller programming, gateways, I/O modules and metering devices.
When the right product does not exist
A missing gateway between two protocols, an obsolete controller to be taken over without rewiring, a sensor to integrate into an existing supervision system: some situations have no off-the-shelf solution. We then develop the software or electronics required, with the same commitment to openness as for our products.
What we develop
- Controller programming: IEC 61131-3 programs in structured text on Beckhoff TwinCAT, CODESYS or WAGO, commented and documented.
- Gateways and data integration: BACnet, Modbus, M-Bus, KNX, MQTT and APIs, to bring the data to where it is useful.
- Input/output modules and metering devices: dedicated electronics, from which the Wellset products were born.
How we work
A functional specification validated before coding, bench tests before going on site, documentation that allows a third party to take over the work. Custom development is only worth something if it does not create a new dependency.
Development or specification?
Workswell develops and supplies. Defining a complete installation, putting it out to tender and inspecting its execution belong to wall-i.
A building to measure, a consumption to understand?
A first conversation is usually enough to gauge the savings potential and the data available.
